We have welcomed six new members to the team. Following a period of steady growth over the last few years, the company has seen a further increase in sales as the nation has embraced puzzling during a challenging year.
Neil Hartley, Demi Newman, Jazmin Gray and Rachel Riddell join the team into the new roles of Assistant Accountant, Customer Service Administrator, People & Culture Manager and Sales Supervisor. Meanwhile, as Adam Melville leaves the company after many years of service, David Eastoe joins the team as Head of Finance.
Neil will assist with financial reporting commitments, as well as developing new processes and efficiencies as the business continues to expand.
Demi’s role focuses on customer service for Gibsons consumers and the Gibsons website. She will be the first point of contact when customers get in touch by email or phone.
Jazmin’s role is brand new for Gibsons, created to build upon the company’s people strategy including employee wellbeing, talent planning, and staff development.
Rachel joins as our new Sales Manager, to help manage our retail and trade accounts.
The company will also be recruiting a young person in the coming weeks as part of the Government Kickstart scheme.
Our Managing Director, Kate Gibson comments, "We are delighted to welcome Neil, Demi, Rachel, Dave and Jazmin to the Gibsons team. So much has changed over the last 12 months and they join us at an exciting time in our history. With a partial return to the office and the benefits this brings, it feels great to be able to grow our dedicated team and to give an opportunity to a young person, especially in the current climate."
